Jr was an amazing boy, I wish we had taken him to some buck shows. He threw his beautiful conformation to his daughters, and sons. His girls are good milking does with nice udders.

I have high hopes for Josie, her dam was not one of my best milking does, but had beautiful conformation, Josie's sire Jr has improved milk production in some of his other kids, so I am hoping that will be the case with Josie.

Jr definitely helped out the milk! This girl peeked at a gallon a day as a FF this year (2019). Nice udder, teats could be a bit longer, but are not to short.

Josie is giving a gallon and a half, her second freshening, 2020. Josie does develop a pocket in the fore udder, but only when she is very full. Tested negative for CAE 2020

2021 Josie has the widest rear udder arch in our herd so far, I only got her milk measured one night, she gave 7lbs that one milking.

2022 Josie is really putting it in the bucket, giving close to two gallon a day at peek this year, and such good flavored milk.
The only complaint is she still gets a small pocket in the fore udder, but only when she is very full.

The only reason we are parting with this beautiful doe, is to cut down on how many goats we freshen next year.
